Revolutionary May Day 2010

Join actions around the country on Saturday, May 1:

New York

March and rally throughout the day in Washington Heights, Harlem and East Harlem/El Barrio! Meet 11 a.m. at 181st & St. Nicholas Avenue (#1 train to 181st Street) and midway gathering point 2:30-3:30 p.m. at 125th & Amsterdam Avenue (#1 or #A,B,C,D to 125th St.). March ends in El Barrio/East Harlem and an evening program (details to be announced).

Chicago

12:30 p.m.: Union Park, Washington & Ashland
4:30 p.m.: 55th and Damen on the median

Los Angeles

Join the Revolution contingent in the immigrant rights march in downtown L.A. at 2 hook-up spots:

  • 10 AM: Olympic & Broadway.  Look for "The Revolution We Need...The Leadership We Have" banner. OR
  • 10 AM:  Meet at Revolution Books / Libros Revolucion (312 W. 8th St., half block west of Broadway) to join the contingent.

After the march:

  • 3 PM:  Rally at Leimert Park, Crenshaw Blvd. & West Vernon Ave., and then caravan to Inglewood.
  • 6 PM:  Westwood Blvd. & Kinross Ave. (just north of Wilshire) in Westwood Village near UCLA for a short march in Westwood.

Berkeley

Rally points:
12 p.m.: Telegraph & Bancroft (Berkeley)
2 p.m.: 34th & International (Oakland)
4 p.m.: 71st & International (Oakland)
Celebration afterward TBA

Atlanta

9:30 a.m.: Meet at Revolution Books Outlet (4 Corners of the Earth Market, 1087 Euclid Ave. in Little 5 Points) to join the May Day team.
